The Root Chakra is located at the base of your spine in the tailbone area. It is our survival center, our foundation and when healthy leaves us feeling secure, grounded and stable. A blocked Root Chakra can prevent us from advancing in life leaving us feeling stuck. The lack of balance prevents the release of restricting emotions (insecurities, fear, guilt, etc.) that hold us back. If we cannot release what is holding us back (our ability to let go) than we cannot move forward.

Our Solar Plexus is located in our upper abdomen, just below the breast bone and is where we “digest” our life experiences and also transform them into learning for our higher purpose. It is the center of your personal power, ambition, emotion and is where feelings and sense of touch are processed. This area is where our “gut” feeling comes from and your instinctively yes/no response. Stress has a huge impact on this Chakra and when it is not balanced we often feel drained.
