I have been a Yogi since 2003, practicing all forms of Yoga over the years. In January of 2017, I embarked on my journey of becoming a certified Kundalini and Hatha yoga teacher.
Kundalini yoga fell into my lap at a time that I needed it most. I was going through a second major life transformation and I was in desperate need of something to help me bust through all the energetic blocks that were holding me back from stepping into my power. I needed some extra support to help me get out of my own way. Something to help me stop re-creating the same stories, events and people over and over again. I needed to be able to recognize my old habitual patterns and Kundalini Yoga did exactly that for me. I was able to bring my darkness to the light (Wahe Guru!) so that I could work “through” my shadows instead of running away from them.
Kundalini Yoga helped me break through limiting beliefs and get re-connected to myself helping me to “come home” and remember who I am. I truly felt transformed from the inside out. It was by far some of the deepest, life changing work I have ever allowed myself to experience.
Kundalini Yoga consists of breath work, movement, mantra, meditation and mudra. Kundalini Yoga is the uncoiling of your authentic self. The practice of Kundalini Yoga can help us to release old habits that no longer serve you. It helps to promote clarity, clear fears, builds self trust, stimulates and strengthens the nervous system and empowers us.
